About us.
Tierra Guna is a growing community of people living and working together with respect for nature. What started with four families is growing into a place where multiple households are building together to live in a conscious, sustainable way.
Inspired by principles of self-sufficiency and sustainability, we work closely with the local community. We are committed to inclusiveness and collaboration, welcoming all who identify with our values.
With a holistic approach, we provide space for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual development. We establish a food forest and vegetable garden, host educational programs and workshops, and provide a place for art and creativity.
To grow our community in a sustainable way, we are developing innovative initiatives such as cooperative enterprises and ecotourism. In this way, we are building together a future in which people and nature are in balance.
Where is it?
In the beautiful northwestern Spain lies our village in Asturias, also called "The Green Spain. Here you will enjoy a nice mix of culture, nature and gastronomy. You can explore the breathtaking Picos de Europa, beautiful beaches, caves, lakes, mountains and vast landscapes. Within 30 minutes you can go surfing, kayaking, canyoning and mountain hiking.
Over the next few years we are working to realize our dreams; wooden homes, a community house for gathering, training and retreats, among other things. Anything is possible in this unique place and we hope to realize a food forest, vegetable garden, animal housing, bakery, studio, wellness place and workspace.
